Conference summarizing the project LIFE12NAT/PL/000031

The International Conference summarizing the project LIFE12NAT/PL/000031 under the name “Comprehensive protection of non-forest natural habitats on military areas in Natura 2000 site” will take place in Poland Krakow – Jerzmanowice and in “Pustynia Błędowska” area on 17-19 of May 2017.

During the conference there will be presented the results of implemented activities in the Project and, also, 4 years’ activities of employees of District Infrastructure Management Board in the area of “Pustynia Błędowska” in Krakow.

The project conducted by Ministry of Defence is financed under the funds of European Commission and National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management of financial instrument LIFE.

The conference will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the LIFE Program and the EU Habitats Directive (Approved on 21 May 1992). European Commission together with European Parliament Council and Committee of the Regions proclaimed 21 May 2017 as ‘European Natura 2000 day’.
