Performance and the administration of the website of the project was commissioned to Conticom, ul. Morska 222/11, 81-006 Gdynia, the contract number 7/2014/Life on 21st January 2014.

Fun page (RZI LIFE) on Facebook was created. Current information about the project and important events connected with Polish Army are placed on the fun page.
For the administration of the fun page Conticom company is responsible, supervised by IT Specialist. Materials transferred to be placed on the website are prepared by PR and Promotion Specialist.
E2 THE ORGANIZING THE PROJECT SUMMARY CONFERENCE
The conference summarizes results of the realization of the project. It will be a forum for exchanging opinions and experiences in the field of active nature protection on military areas in Poland and countries of the European Union.
E3 CYCYLE OF WORKSHOPS “NATURE PROTECTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ON MILITARY AREAS”
Workshops “Principles of protection of the Natura 2000 areas – Błędowska Desert”.
The second of the five workshops prepared for representatives of military institutions and people administering the military areas, which are of particular environmental import_ance for the LIFE12 NAT/PL/000031 project entitled “Comprehensive protection of non-forest natural habitats in military areas under the framework of Natura 2000” – Błędowska Desert, funded under the LIFE + financial instrument from the European Union funds and from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management was held on the 28 October 2015.
The aim of the training was to familiarize the participants with the issues of nature and environmental protection in the military areas.
The person conducting the lectures was Dr Wojciech Mróz and the training was held in the form of workshops on the Błędowska Desert territory.
The thematic scope of the training concerned the protection principle of the Natura 2000 areas; methods of active protection of Natura 2000 areas in military areas; protection of grasslands natural habitats (sand grasslands, inland dunes) in practice; potential conflicts between the requirements of environmental protection and the exploitation of military sites; financing and implementation of projects in the field of nature protection.
The topics discussed during the field workshops:
Information on the LIFE12 NAT/PL/000031 project entitled “Comprehensive protection of non-forest natural habitats in military areas under the framework of Natura 2000”.
Basic information about the Natura 2000 European Ecological Network and its operation in Poland. Natura 2000 areas on military sites.
Administration of Natura 2000 areas – basic instruments, conditions for the preparation and implementation of plans of protection tasks.
Błędowska Desert PLH120014 – characteristics of the area, objects of protection, plan of protection tasks, conducted protective measures.
Methods of active protection of Natura 2000 areas on military sites. Protection of grasslands natural habitats (sand grasslands, inland dunes) in practice. Potential conflicts between the requirements of environmental protection and the exploitation of military sites. Financing and implementation of projects in the field of nature protection. Discussion.
The third training workshop – 15.12.2015

The third of five training workshops entitled “Protection principles of the Natura 2000 areas” took place on the 15 December 2015 in Warsaw. The workshops are organized within the framework of our Life 12 NAT/PL/000031 project and are intended for representatives of military institutions and people managing military areas, which are of particular natural importance in the LIFE12NAT/PL/000031 project.

The aim of the training was to familiarize the participants with issues connected with nature and environmental protection in military areas and the protection principles of Natura 2000 areas.
Dr. Wojciech Mróz conducted the training. The workshops were successful and the interest in the subject was very high, which allowed holding many interesting and substantive discussions during the training.
E4 ESTABLISHMENT, EDITION AND PUBLICATION OF THE GUIDANCE ON NATURE PROTECTION ON MILITARY AREAS IN POLISH AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
Considering that other results of promotional activities are of relatively perishable nature, it is appropriate to present elaborated methodology and project results in book form in Polish and English language.
E5 COMMISSION OF PERFORMANCE OF TWO REPORTAGES FOR NATIONAL AND REGIONAL TELEVISION.
The aim of reportages emitted on national and regional television shall be to raise ecological awareness of society and to educate younger generation. Additionally they shall explain Life+ project’s issue and its importance for nature protection. The majority of information activities shall be directed towards people working on Nature 2000 areas in military zones or directly towards soldiers, for example the cycle of training workshops. Information point activity. It seems justified to inform local community about activities conducted by the army aiming in environment protection, especially in the protection of Nature 2000 areas emphasizing that it is the first project of the kind undertook by the Ministry of National Defence (MON) and of such large scale.
E6 COMMISSION OF PERFORMANCES OF TWO ARTICLES FOR PRESS FOCUSING ON NATURAL AND MILITARY TOPIC
Two articles in the national press that allow to reach the readers
[urwany tekst] connected with the military are the part of promotional campaign of the project amongst people interested in nature protection and amongst the community and Life+ Instrument.
E7 ESTABLISHMENT OF FIELD INFORMATION POINT
Putting of the Field Information Point in a resting place for soldiers enables conducting short trainings in the field of nature protection during military trainings. The plaques shall be a part of promotion of Nature 2000 Błędowska Desert PLH120014 area protection and the Project.
The project outcomes:
We intend to design a place (approximate area of 0.5ha) with permanent exposition describing protection of nature habitats issue in form of information plaques:
regarding the area of Nature 2000 Błędowska Desert PLH 120014,
with the description of protected nature habitats of Błędowska Desert PLH 120014,
regarding protected species of plants on Błędowska Desert PLH 120014,
regarding protected species of animals on Błędowska Desert PLH 120014,
regarding the history of Błędowska Desert PLH 120014 area,
regarding activities conducted during protection,
regarding militaria found during the realization of CA4 activity.
All plaques shall be marked with logos of: Life+, NFOŚiGW, Nature 2000 and a beneficiary.
Part of the area shall be covered with a roof.
All area shall be surrounded with low fence.
There shall be: tables (7), benches (14), wooden waste bins (7) and toilets (3).
E8 THREE INFORMATION PLAQUES REQUIRED BY LIFE+
Information plaques serve for promotional purposes and dissemination of the project.
Information plaques were performed and put till 28th February 2014. The way of the installation of the plaques – the plaques on the area around appointed tree, dimensions of the plaques – three-fold plaques (one-to-one meter *elements) – two units on Błędowska Desert area and one plaque on the wall of RZI seat in Kraków. E9 LAYMAN’S REPORT
The laymman’s report shall include information about the project for receiver without an education in natural sciences. The report shall describe the most important tasks od realized project – aims, activities and results. The report shall be drawn up in Polish and English language version.
